Samsung Galaxy A7 Unveiled by Firm at Malaysia Launch Event: Report

The much-anticipated and much-leaked metal-clad smartphone fro Samsung, the Galaxy A7, appears to have finally gone official.
The South Korean giant at the launch event of Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 in Malaysia on Thursday is reported to have unveiled the Samsung Galaxy A7 alongside for the first time. It will reportedly go on sale in the country starting next month, though there is no pricing announced as yet.
As per the report by Soyacincau from Samsung's Malaysia event, the Galaxy A7 supports 4G LTE and will feature a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) Super-Amoled display. It will be powered with Qualcomm's 64-bit Snapdragon 615 processor and built-in storage is expected to be 16GB, with no word on expandability.
In terms of dimensions, the Galaxy A7 measures in at 6.3mm, the same as leaked in the Tenaa listing, which arguably makes it the slimmest Samsung smartphone ever. The battery is said to be of 2600mAh capacity.
In India, Samsung on Tuesday launched the metal-clad Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 smartphones, priced at Rs. 20,500 and Rs. 25,500 respectively. The smartphones will be available in the market from next week.
The company also launched a brand new selfie-focused smartphone series, the Galaxy E5 and the Galaxy E7, priced at Rs. 19,700 and Rs. 23,000 respectively. They will go on sale from January 20. Both Galaxy E smartphones feature what Samsung is calling 'Hybrid Dual-SIM', allowing the second SIM slot to be used as a microSD card slot.
