Online sex racket spreading rapidly across India

Lucknow: Online sex racket is rapidly spreading its wings across the country. Not only this, the online flesh trade network is fast acquiring the shape of an organised sector , much like corporate, where you can  get franchise after paying security money.

Arvind, the kingpin of the Gomti Nagar sex racket busted on Monday, has confessed that his network  was spread across the nation and that proper franchise was also being offereds in many cities.

He also confessed that customer and girls are called from different states and bookings were done online or via phone.

The franchise amount of a single unit was Rs 1.5 lakh, he said.

The ‘ability’ of offering a franchise was decided on the basis of availability of girls. The licence was given to those people who managed to call educated girls.

Police, while taking the probe a step ahead, has shortlisted several websites and extracted contact details mentioned in their contact list.

Police has now prepared a detail report on active sex rackets in the state which will be forwarded to police officials of respective districts. The police officers, however, have pointed out that it is difficult to trace the location of people running such rackets online and via WhatsApp.
