Indian WC team announced, Jadeja included in final 15

Mumbai: Akshar Patel has been included while Yuvraj Singh failed to make it into 15 member World Cup squad announced here Tuesday by the selection committee after a meeting which lasted for almost 2 hours.

Injured Ravindra Jadeja has been included in the team and will have to prove his fitness in due course of time.

The meeting was attended by Saba Kareem, Vikram Rathor, Sanjay Paten, Sandeep Patil and Roger Binny who reached late due to flight delay.

ODI captain MS Dhoni and Duncan Fletcher too participated through video conferencing as both are in Australia for ongoing Test series which will be followed by a Triangular ODI series involving India, Australia and England later this month.
