Teenager was 'accidentally shot in the PENIS by his friend when game went badly wrong'

A boy has been arrested amid reports he accidentally shot his 15-year-old friend in the penis when a game they were playing went painfully wrong.

Police said the teenager alerted emergency services immediately after the alleged incident, which took place in Naples, Florida, last week.

When the 911 call handler asked where he had been shot, he said frantically: "The arm and...I think...my penis," reports WINK News.

On arrival at the scene, officers found the teenager alone.

Treatment: The teenager was airlifted to hospital after the shooting

Initially, he covered for his friend - who he had told to leave the Golden Gate Estates Development to avoid being caught - but later told officers who shot him.

According to investigators, the alleged shooter returned to the scene and was arrested for obstruction of justice. He cannot be named because of his age.

The injured boy was airlifted to Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Meyers, but has since been discharged after receiving treatment.

It is unclear where the boys got the gun.
