Katie Price joins Celebrity Big Brother house as surprise new housemate

The former glamour model, 36, shocked her fellow celebrities as she finally said 'yes' to CBB

Katie Price has FINALLY joined Celebrity Big Brother, entering the house as a surprise new housemate on Friday night.
The former glamour model, 36, was drafted in by producers to replace axed contestants Jeremy Jackson and Ken Morley. She entered the house following the first eviction of the series as Chloe Goodman was booted from the house.
Arriving in a gold gown, in fall ball-mode, the former glamour model said she felt "nervous" and kept crying as she would miss her children.
The star was visibly nervous and shaking as she made her way up the stairs, stopping to wave and smile.
Katie, who has been courted by CBB producers every year since the show began in 2001, says the price was finally right to lure her into the house.
She said, "There is always a price for the Pricey and the price was right."

'The price was right'
The model's shock arrival midway through the series gives her the benefit of having seen several episodes.
She joins one of the most dramatic group of housemates yet including her rival Katie Hopkins, model Cami Li and celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.
"I’ve been glued to the show, it’s a great series," she said.
Just a day before entering the house, Katie tried to throw fans off the scent by teasing on Twitter that she and husband Kieran Hayler were flying out of the country for a mini-break.

Katie will enter the house having recently gone under the knife for breast reduction surgery and says a "doctor is on standby the whole time to keep checking me".
The mum-of-five has had issues with some of the housemates in the past - particularly her namesake, Katie Hopkins.

Katie, 39, famously quipped that the model's latest daughter, Bunny, was named so because her husband Kieran Hayler 'was at it like a rabbit' with her friends, alluding to his affair with her pal Jane Pountney.
The newcomer says the comments don't bother her - but she will draw the line at mean comments about her son Harvey, who is diagnosed with autism.
She said: "But if they start picking on Harvey, like Frankie Boyle did, then that is a different kettle of fish. I don't care what people say about me, but when it comes to kids who can't defend themselves then I think it is cruel and wrong."
